Join us for a FREE family-friendly event that celebrates the wonders of winter in the way northern Minnesotan know best: outdoors! We’re partnering with WonderTrek Children’s Museum of Brainerd to bring a their WonderTrek on Wheels: Snowsled Workshop to Chisholm. Kids can design and build their own sleds and then cruise down MDC’s all-new Discovery Hills Sled Park.

Additionally, participants of all ages can strap on snowshoes or board a kicksled and explore the Heritage Park Trail System. For this special event, we’re waiving on-campus equipment rental fees! So, whether you prefer downhill or cross-country thrills—we’ve got you covered.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase, including winter favorites like s’mores and chestnuts—which you can roast over the bonfire we’ll keep crackling throughout the day. Hot chocolate, apple cider, and coffee will be complimentary!
